COOK A HEALTHY STIR-FRY

Almost every night of the week, my family sits down together and has dinner. Eating meals together has the potential to strengthen family bonds. It’s time for the whole family to be together. For younger kids, it gives them a sense of security and belonging. Older kids actually prefer to eat together as a family.

I try to cook dinner at least 4-5 times a week. It’s healthier to eat at home and you don’t eat as much. I get very bored with my recipes and I feel so repetitive. I know my kids love a recipe when they go back for seconds. I like to change it up so I get a lot of my recipe ideas from the Food Network app. Of course, there are plenty of nights where I order take out as well.

Tonight I made this delicious, healthy, and easy shrimp stir-fry. The recipe is from Ree Drummond, aka The Pioneer Woman.
