B’S HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDE 2018!

My family holiday card this year My family holiday card this year

The holidays can be such a stressful time of the year, and between traveling, coordinating with family, and trying to get 2019 started off on the right foot, gift-giving can sometimes be the last thing on my mind. Thankfully, with online shopping and delivery, it’s never been easier to get everyone I love a little something for the end of the year. It can be hard to choose what to get, so I’ve made a list of things I love and can’t recommend enough. And if they don’t love it, make sure to keep the receipt!

Nike Blazer Mid Vintage Sneaker ($85)

These shoes are the bomb! They’re so comfortable and iconic, with just a little bit of a throwback vibe to them. They look good with literally anything, and anyone can pull them off. They’re usually true to the size listed on the website as well. A serious no-brainer.

Wilfred Free Daria Pant Faux-Leather Legging ($138)

I’m a firm believer that if you’re going to wear a legging (and you’re not going to work out) then you should find one that is as fashionable as it is comfortable. These are my go-to that I’ve owned for over four years and have a couple of pairs at this point. So comfortable, but also gives the illusion of leather!

Becca First Light Priming Filter Face Primer ($38)

I don’t wear a ton of makeup day-to-day, but when I do, this is my favorite primer. I know so many people who don’t use primer and don’t even know what it is! For me, it’s just as important as moisturizing. This primer is super hydrating and makes the rest of your makeup look smooth and gorgeous all day long.

Tom Ford Fucking Fabulous Eau de Parfum ($320)

The name alone immediately grabbed my attention when I first saw this Tom Ford fragrance. I bought it for my husband and we were both impressed by the scent as well. Sage, lavender, vanilla, leather. Yum. I’ve gifted it to so many people and it’s just so sexy and fun.

PARS Automatic Persian Rice Cooker ($47-$70)

If you’ve been to my house for a dinner party, this is one of my favorite party tricks. Persian rice is a delicious side dish that becomes the main event when you cook it like this. Each of the sizes (ranging from three cups to fifteen cups) comes with a timer that makes perfect “tahdig,” which is the crunchy rice shell that domes over the rest of the rice. So good.

Robb Vices Subscription Boxes ($389-$1190)

You know those people who are kind of impossible to shop for, or it seems like they have everything already? I turn to subscription boxes for that person. Robb Vices is a brand that’s focused on luxury, and who doesn’t love that? Each box has a different theme with different luxury goods, whether it’s spirits and liquor, cigars, food, treats, or tech. There are a couple of different subscription plans that any gift receiver will truly appreciate.

Ricki’s World-Famous Original Chipsticks ($10-$38)

Do I even need to explain these? Just look at them. I’m lucky if I get ONE if my family’s already gotten to them. So delicious, and they’re available in a bunch of different sizes, but save yourself the trouble and grab the three-pound option. Trust me, it’s worth it.

Max Pawn Designer Handbags (Prices Vary)

I love designer purses, but I couldn’t tell you the last time I bought a designer handbag from the brand itself. I always go to Max Pawn, a terrific pawn shop located in Las Vegas. Each bag is checked with Entrupy, a technology used to verify the bag is authentic, and are sold like new. The bag above, which is a Stella McCartney Falabella Three-Chain Fold-Over Tote Bag, was retailed at $1,025 but purchased at $500! An affordable statement piece!

Finishing Touch Flawless Women’s Painless Hair Remover ($20)

Getting rid of unwanted face and body hair is never fun, so I look for something that will be quick, painless, and efficient. This remover by Finishing Touch gets the job done easily. There’s a built-in light that lets me see what I’m doing, and I find that my makeup goes on so much smoother after I use it. Easy fix!

Drybar Gift Card ($10-$500)

Sometimes you’re in a pinch and a gift card is the best choice for a holiday gift. My advice is that gift cards are always okay, but you still want to make them personal! So get one for Drybar. I’ve been going there for YEARS and they work magic on your hair. Washes, styling, blowouts. It’s such a gift to have someone else do your hair and their blowouts last 2-3 days after you leave the salon. They’re truly miracle workers.
